Named by my clever friend Shannon, the song will probably stick in your head while you make this. While the original idea was for a large makeup bag that opens up wide enough to see all the way to the bottom, you may decide you need a dozen of these for various reasons. Perfect for your paper piecing project or small handwork or as a sewing kit bag to take along with your machine to classes. It’s been suggested these will be great for keeping track of toy cars and legos too. :)
The bag is mostly assembled flat, and features an inside slip pocket and an inside zippered pocket that is super quick and easy to install. Add the sides and the binding (I’m not going to lie, binding around the corners is fiddly, but the end result is worth it!) and the top zip goes in fast at the end. You’ll be finished before you know it, and you may find yourself taking orders for them. :P
