  • The Raw Edge version of Get Carded measures approximately 4.5" wide x 3.5" tall x 3/4" deep with a wristlet or lanyard strap.
  • As the name suggests, this pattern is only for materials that can be left raw or edge painted, like cork or accessory weight vinyl. It is not stitched and turned and therefore you cannot use woven (cotton) fabrics. The cotton version of Get Carded is available here.
  • Get Carded features an ID pocket and Zip Pocket on the outside, and four card slots with two deeper cash pockets on the outside. There is an invisible/sew-in magnet closure.
  • Pattern instructions are 11 pages with bright, clear, color photographs plus 3 pages of pattern pieces which must be printed at home on letter/A4 sized paper.
  • This pattern is designed and sewn on a domestic sewing machine. An industrial sewing machine is not required for the materials suggested.
  • A video tutorial is available on YouTube.
  • An SVG file is included. Video walkthrough of Cricut Design Space.
  • Please note: The SVG file is provided as a free bonus for customers who already know how to use it, simply to save them the time of making their own. Please understand that I cannot personally provide individual technical support for your cutting machine or anything (hardware or software) related to the SVG file. If there is something wrong that may apply to everyone (for example, Cricut makes changes to Design Space in a way that the file no longer opens properly), absolutely please let me know.
  • You must be able to save and print a PDF file.
  • Download link is provided after purchase.
  • Sorry, no refunds on digital products.

The Raw Edge Get Carded Wallet is a small wallet that holds everything you need. It has only a few pattern pieces which makes for a very fast sew. Leave the edges raw or edge paint! Swap out the strap for webbing to minimize material requirements so you can use your very favorite cork or vinyl!

As with all Dog Under My Desk patterns, this wallet has been designed and tested on a domestic sewing machine (Bernina 570) and the detailed photo instructions are accessible to visual learners. For this pattern, a video tutorial is also available. I think any advanced beginner could make this, especially if you use some practice materials first, but the video will help you decide if it matches your skill level.
